We called Pinzone Plumbing on Tuesday late afternoon and they were on the job Wednesday morning. Sal the owner came, he was really fast and seemed to do good work - even wore shoe nets to not get things dirty. He replaced the hot and cold knobs (thought they both were on their way out), and the hot-water shutoff valve (under the sink - it was dripping still while closed, meaning the valve was beginning to deteriorate). "We used the services of Pinzone Plumbing to fix several plumbing issues with the house we just purchased. Their performance, professionalism, and value were nothing short of exceptional. Sal, the owner of the company, came out on one day's notice to provide us an estimate. We found him to be personable, honest, and professional, explaining in terms we could understand what the options were for the repairs and what would be involved in each repair in terms of moving furniture, cost, parts, etc... He showed up promptly the next week to do the repairs. He worked efficiently and thoroughly explained all the repairs he did, including showing me how to do some simple maintenance to take care of the plumbing and heating systems to prevent future problems. Although he worked for almost three and a half hours, he only charged us for two hours of labor, because he had to spend a little time going back to his office to find a part. In addition to doing a good job on the plumbing itself, including testing for and finding a difficult leak, he cleaned after himself thoroughly, and even wore disposable booties so as not to track outside dirt onto our clean floors. Really excellent job all around. When you hire a plumber, especially an independent plumber off the BBB website, you never know what you're going to get. We were very pleased with the work Sal did, though. I hope we never have to call a plumber again, but given that invariably we will have to do so, we will certainly call Sal at Pinzone first."
